SCOTT LAW echoes the crossroads of the American musical spectrum. He is a songwriter, guitarist and mandolin player who is an original interpreter, effortlessly ranging between foot-stomping solo acoustic work and rocking an electric band to the edge with greasy funk rhythms and swirling guitar. Scott’s chance-taking nature energizes the stage in live performance where he brings together deep grooves, lyrical turns, strong themes and a broad emotional range with his soulful singing and personable presence.

In July 2005 Scott was honored to join PHIL LESH & FRIENDS at Red Rocks Amphitheatre (Colorado) for a few songs playing Jerry Garcia’s “Wolf” guitar at a pre-show benefit gathering for Phil’s UNBROKEN CHAIN FOUNDATION.

Scott has toured nationally and recorded with keyboardist MELVIN SEALS (JERRY GARCIA BAND/1980-95) and the acoustic-instrumental group, HANUMAN. He has appeared several times as a member of EVERYONE ORCHESTRA and frequently sits in with STRING CHEESE INCIDENT, HONKYTONK HOMESLICE, TONY FURTADO, ALO, HOT BUTTERED RUM STRING BAND, VINYL and a host of others.
