Stanton Moore is an incredibly diverse musical machine… Moore cut his teeth as the drummer for the highly acclaimed band, Galactic. After gaining immense notoriety for his performance with Galactic, Stanton decided to record on his own. Stanton has developed a lucrative solo career working with Galactic producer Nick Sansano as well as a host of stellar musicians such as: Karl Denson (Greyboy Allstars, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe), Chris Wood (Medeski, Martin & Wood) and Leo Nocentelli (The Meters) to name a few. Stanton has also collaborated with Mike Dillion, Skerik and Charlie Hunter to form the critically acclaimed, Garage a Trois. Stanton’s musicianship is second to none and his ability to constantly innovate sound with such an array of musical styles make Stanton Moore a true original.
