Madison House Internship Program

Summary:
Madison House Inc. currently has internships available at our Boulder offices. Interns will assist the young & fast-paced Madison House staff in a variety of tasks. Interns will be exposed to and participate in the inner workings of artist management and booking, as well as how these practices relate to outside promoters, managers, booking agents and tour managers. Our office operates under a very unique open door policy. The philosophy, as well as the physical structure of our offices, allows interns maximum exposure to all aspects of music industry management practices. Interns will witness booking agents brokering deals, managers servicing artist concerns, as well as a host of other management activities. Upon the successful completion of an internship with Madison House Inc, each intern will possess the skills necessary to conduct administrative business in any music industry management or booking agency office. The intern will have a thorough understanding of artist relations, performance contract management as well as booking agency practices. Successful interns who demonstrate interest in related fields (publicity, merchandising, street promotions, etc), may be offered opportunities to pursue a follow-up internship with a Madison House sister company specializing in their area of interest.
NOTE: Internship resumes are always being accepted, however we only hire during the following months: December (for Spring internships), April (for Summer internships) and August (for Fall internships).

Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interest in the music industry
Ability to multi task and be detail oriented
Computer and Research skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet browser)
Available 6-10 hours per week for a duration of 3 months minimum
