The term Live PA is typically used to describe the act of performing electronic music in a concert setting. The Pnuma Live PA takes it a step further incorporating elements of Drum and Bass, IDM, Hip-Hop, Rap, Funk, and Jazz into their eclectic live sets. Alex Botwin and Lane Shaw make up two thirds of Boulder based live electronic outfit, the Pnuma Trio. As a three piece they have toured relentlessly in the U.S. and have a solid reputation for delivering an explosive, awe inspiring live show. The incarnation of the Pnuma Live PA is an outlet for the pair to explore musical interests in a different format. Alex’s crisp production style and meticulous live mixing coupled with Lane’s undeniably impressive drumming makes for a serious party rocking live act. As Pnuma Live PA the two have gigged all over the country performing along sides such acts as STS9, The Disco Biscuits, Bassnectar, Flying Lotus, Glitch Mob, Conspirator, and even have a new project with NYC based producer Eliot Lipp entitled Lipp Service. This is quite an impressive tick list for a couple of kids who still have to pay extra to rent a car.
